Sony: Camera 41 MP Nokia 808 PureView "Is not New Technology"

Nokia 808 PureView presence with a huge camera sensor, 41 MP is enough attention when it was introduced for the first time at the Mobile World Congress 2012 last. Not surprisingly, many people who claim to impressed with the technology brought by the mobile phone Nokia Belle's operating system.

Well, then what is the comments of others associated with the technology that brought on the Nokia 808 PureView it?
Quoted PULSAonline via Techradar, it was reported that a spokesman for Sony in the UK recently said that the latest Nokia smartphone PureView 808 is a development of 'interesting', but the technology is in it is not new.

"Quite clearly, it is the announcement of the proposition that the development of more 'salable', it's not new technology, the camera just what we do over the past year." said Paul Genge, the spokesman for Sony in question.

Sources at Techradar said though it seems Nokia using 'pixel binning' to the camera, but it claims that it uses proprietary oversampling algorithms to achieve the best performance it claims is better than 'pixel binning' standard.

Sony cameras use what is called digital zoom pixels, the pixels are grouped together to increase sensitivity.

"In that case, it is not too prominent, but in the mobile sector, yes, I can understand why it attracted lots of attention," said Genge.

Genge further said that what is revealed by Nokia's announcement just a technology and not a retail solution that makes sense.
