Nokia and Microsoft is ready to invest 11.9 million USD for AppCampus

Nokia and Microsoft has just announced that the two parties alone will invest up to 11.9 million USD (18 million Euro) for a development program called AppCampus.

According to a report quoted by The Verge, Finland-based program will be launched in May and will be managed by the Aalto University.

With this program later, both Nokia and Microsoft hopes to manarik interest of students and businessmen from around the world of Windows Phone platform and Symbian/S40.

Sure, Nokia's decision to switch to Windows Phone seems the developers have not got a great appreciation for this. Until now than 70,000 applications available on Windows Phone Marketplace was popular titles like Angry Birds Space, Draw Something, and Instagram has not yet been covered in it.

The developers apparently still has not made ??the Windows Phone platform as its main priority. Condition that is likely to be the reason for the investment program was rolled out in hopes of reversing the situation.
